Barbara Kracht

Barbara spent her whole professional career at Airbus as Head of Media Relations and also communications

In this role she developed many communication strategies, while and establishing an outstanding relationship with the world media  as well as with the airline communications teams.

In this capacity, Barbara had to advise on, and manage many kinds of crisis, be it internal management issues, delays in programme developments, promotion of new trend setting - but challenging - technologies, as well as a series of in service aircraft accidents.

From late 2008 till mid 2011, Barbara led the Communications for Airbus Military hereby learning about the military part of the aviation business.

Based in Toulouse, South West France, Barbara now teaches Crisis Communications at the Toulouse Business School and at ENAC (French Civil Aviation School) as well as advising, training and supporting a number of clients for their crisis communications preparedness.

Barbara speaks fluently French, German and Spanish in addition to English. She is also a Senior Associate of the global crisis & emergency management service, GoCrisis
